Home shopping in Las Vegas can be a challenge, and not just because of its rapid-fire, low-inventory market. There are so many neighborhoods, from new construction, master-planned communities to historic districts to urban blocks of condo-filled high rises, it can be hard to choose. But not all Las Vegas neighborhoods were created equal—especially from a budget standpoint.
If you know your price range, but you haven’t nailed down a community, this article is for you. We’ll cover four Las Vegas neighborhoods that deliver the most house at a specific price point. If you already know where you want to buy, compare that location with these four communities, and find out where you’ll get the most bang for your buck.
Centennial Hills
Centennial Hills is a large neighborhood in the Northwest area of Las Vegas. It has its own hospital, schools, and grocery stores as well as shopping malls, parks, restaurants, and big-box stores. It is a little bit out of the way if you plan on making regular visits to the Strip and Downtown, but if that’s not your scene, Centennial Hills has everything you need—including loads of home shopping options.

$650K-$700K will land you an enormous, 4-bed, 3-bath house on nearly a half an acre lot. Resort-style landscaping is popular here, with large trees and water features as well as outdoor entertainment spaces. Most homes here feature modern desert architecture, big garages, and grand entryways.

Northridge Area
Northridge is a small neighborhood in North Las Vegas, just five minutes from the Shadow Creek Golf Course and three minutes from Tropical Breeze Park. With easy access to the I-15, Northridge and the surrounding area is a great place to look if you want bang for your buck plus accessibility to the rest of the city.

Home wise, you’ll find plenty of new construction as well as new-to-you beauties with large lots. A budget of $600,000 will easily get you five bedrooms and 3,000 square feet, and you’ll find mature landscaping, yards, shimmering swimming pools, and luxurious interior finishes among the common features.

Spring Valley
Heading southwest through Chinatown, you’ll find Spring Valley. One of the most accessible and convenient locations in Las Vegas overall, Spring Valley is 15 minutes from almost anywhere. This is a very cosmopolitan part of Las Vegas. The cultural diversity is reflected in the surrounding restaurants and small businesses, and the sense of community is strong.

For $650,000, you’re looking at four bedrooms and three bathrooms in 2,800 square feet. Homes in this price range are light, bright, and fully updated. They often include gorgeous flooring, vaulted ceilings, and manicured outdoor spaces with artificial turf and big trees—not to mention pools perfect for cooling off in the summer.

Green Valley North
To the southeast, in the north half of Henderson, Green Valley North offers home shoppers a whole lot of house at a lower price point. This neighborhood is about 20 minutes from the Strip, and it is Las Vegas’ first master-planned community—built before the now more famous Summerlin. Most public schools here have above-average ratings, and the surrounding area contains many parks, restaurants, and coffee shops.

A budget around $550,000 will buy a 4-bedroom, 3-bathroom house in Green Valley North, complete with a multi-car garage and low-maintenance landscaping. Pool and spa combinations are a popular feature at this price point, as well as covered patios and fenced backyards. Inside, you’ll find hardwood and tile flooring, cozy fireplaces, and sparkling, updated kitchens.
